The South El Monte Sister Cities Association is setting up a Dia de los Muertos altar in honor of Bobby, as part of the Dia de los Muertos celebration in El Monte’s Valley Mall! Bobby is well remembered as an active member and leader in Sister Cities. Sister Cities will also be selling Candy Calaveras (“sugar skulls”) and Tamales as a fundraiser to support their Holiday Baskets. The celebration is on Saturday, Octobe r 30th from 1:00pm to 5:00pm.
