Last month, a select group of students received our first annual scholarships. Our scholarships supports Bobby’s love of education and his firm belief that education has the power to make a difference.

Below is a biography of one of our recipients Elena Trang:
Elena Trang graduated as valedictorian from Rosemead High School Class of 2010. She will be majoring in Biochemistry at UCLA in the fall. She has two older sisters who are her role models. In high school, Elena held the position of Associated Student Body Secretary. She was an active member of her school’s Sisters Achieving Goodness Art Truth Health & Service club wherein she participated in several cancer awareness walks, fundraised money, and served in a few charities for the community. She was also in clubs such as GATE and SAVE and was Ecology Club president. She enjoyed being a part of the Swim team her senior year. When she is not busy study for school, Elena loves to watch movies, listen to music, read for fun and travel to other countries for a different cultural experience. Elena plans to pursue a career in the field of pharmacy where she can spread health and happiness to those around her.
